Prisoner Transport

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office is responsible for the transportation of individuals incarcerated or sentenced by the Columbia County Courts. Tasks include transportation to and from the Courthouse, hospital and doctors visits, Camphill Correctional Facility as well as each state prison including Warren State Hospital.
 
Our deputies each log tens of thousands of miles in a small fleet of vehicles traversing the state and beyond performing their duties. Training and dedication play an important part of this job.

The Columbia County Sheriff Office transports and supervises special inmate 
  work projects such as the Bloomsburg Town Park clean up after the 2006 Flood.
